Strand Talent Advisory was created to bring clarity and strategy to career decisions.

I’m a senior talent leader with more than 15 years of experience inside large, complex organizations, including a Fortune 100 environment, where I’ve led hiring strategy, reviewed thousands of resumes, implemented AI-enabled recruiting tools, and advised executive leadership on workforce planning and talent operations.

In other words, I’ve spent my career on the decision-making side of hiring.

Over time, I saw how often talented professionals undersell themselves, misread the hiring process, or rely on advice that doesn’t reflect how organizations actually operate. The gap between how candidates prepare and how hiring decisions are made is bigger than most people realize.
